Students in Bossier and Webster parishes in Louisiana have organized in response to lawsuits accusing their school districts of unconstitutionally promoting Christianity in schools.
Protect Prayer, described by its organizers as a for-students, by-students movement, aims to inform their peers of their right to religious expression and allow them to live out their faith, the organization‘s board members said.
“Because our schools are under attack, it needs to be students standing up for our faith.”
